Arizona DUI suspects the right to a jury may be lost, for now

in a previous post, we have written about the efforts to renew the controversial law on Arizona DUI case. For Americans who want to enforce the law, the right to protect itself from criminal charges are very valuable. Such protection is often provided by a right to have the jury hear and decide criminal cases.
In May, we wrote about how Governor Brewer in January approved a proposal to restrict certain rights of the accused was driving drunk. Some lawmakers believe that jury trial is unnecessary costs to the system for "small" Arizona DUI case. Others argue, however, that for the suspect, no charges of drunk driving laws was minimal.
